So director Martin Scorsese has a portion of a script from an unproduced Hitchcock film. What does he do? He decides to shoot it himself with Hitchcock’s style. The portion of the script is less than 5 pages. All in all, I’d say he did a good job.

David Lynch has stated that his days of shooting on film are done. Sure film is costly and shooting with it is time consuming and an exacting process, but I’d say it’s worth it considering, in my opinion, how shitty dv is. I can understand his admiration with dv, the workflow, quicker shoots, less lighting etc. After all, his main goal is to tell a good story. But if I were him...
